1. Data we collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service: • Account information: full name, email address, and hashed password. • CV/Resume files: PDF or DOCX files you voluntarily upload for AI analysis. • Usage data: job descriptions you paste for match scoring, interview session responses, roadmap progress. • Device and access logs: IP address, browser type, and session timestamps for security monitoring.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to: • Parse and score your CV against ATS standards and target role requirements. • Generate personalised skill gap reports and 6-month roadmaps. • Simulate AI interview sessions and provide structured feedback. • Send account-related notifications (security, billing, feature updates). AI models receive your CV as context only for the current session. We do not persist your CV content into any model's training data.
3. No data selling — ever
Your CV is yours. Jobie will never sell, share, or rent your personal information or CV content to recruiters, headhunters, or any third party. We may share anonymised, aggregated statistics (e.g. "average ATS score by role") that contain no personally identifiable information.
4. Data security
All data is stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure. Connections to Jobie are secured via TLS 1.3. CV files are stored with at-rest encryption and are accessible only to your account. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. This action is irreversible.
5. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication and preference storage (theme, font size). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can opt out of non-essential cookies via our cookie preferences panel.
